We are a group of college students at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry who are going to be trying something new in our writing class. Environmental awareness is something we would like to spread, so we are going to be publishing weekly installations about the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. We will be posting pictures and writing about some of the problems that the Park faces today.

Element 3: The Cranberry Lake Adventure

Our third element is about Alex and Josh's trip to the Adirondacks over spring break. We've included a few pictures from the trip so you can see what it was like. In addition we wrote a narrative of the trip that can be read here: Hiking the Cranberry Lake 50

    My favorite is the photo that shows the island. So different than it all looks in the summer!
