We are a group of college students at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry who are going to be trying something new in our writing class. Environmental awareness is something we would like to spread, so we are going to be publishing weekly installations about the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. We will be posting pictures and writing about some of the problems that the Park faces today.

Bio: Tarren




I am a freshman at SUNY ESF in the aquatics and fisheries program. I am an avid outdoorsmen who loves to hunt and fish. I work at a local hardware store called Buckingham Hardware and the Great Outdoors where I have not just learned about plumbing and heating but as well as the outdoors itself. I have camped at the Adirondacks a couple times and really enjoy its vast scenery and beauty.
